About YOGA
Yoga practices date back to over 5,000 years ago, it is an ancient discipline born in India, the Sanskrit word “Yoga” means “union”, Yoga practices were designed to integrate body, mind and spirit towards achieving a state of wellness, relax, better health and happiness.
A Yoga class consists on the practice of postures: Asanas, breathing techniques and exercises: Pranayama, Relax, Meditation and Mantras.
Everyone can practice Yoga, it is just a matter of finding instructors that specialize in different areas or practices for certain purposes.
In the Yoga Studio in Daingerfield, Texas, we teach everyone from 15 years old and up.
About the instructor:
Instructor in charge Monica Fallini was trained in Yoga and meditation techniques since early age in Uruguay, mostly Satyananda and Sivananda styles of Yoga. In Texas she studied Hatha Yoga with Instructor Linda Dyer in Tyler, then encouraged by Instructor Elizabeth Webb from the Kundalini Research Institute in Dallas ( Kundalini Yoga), she decided to open classes in Omaha and introduce some Kundalini techniques too, to the lessons.
